Justin Rolling, chief financial officer of the oak orchard health center, stated that “You can go wherever you want to be seen. But we provide care for patients who self-pay and those without insurance.”

Although Whatley is not a free clinic for patients, it will accept them all. The center is funded by grants and private money. They are happy to accept any third-party insurance, as well as patients without insurance.

Rajuan Sherman, director of site management at the center, stated that the only difference between us and other doctors’ offices is the fact planet fitness gainesville offer discounts based on the patient’s income and household information.

Whatley saw approximately 26,000 patients last year and had 72,000 visits in total across Tuscaloosa and Bibb counties. This was through 37 providers. These providers include doctors or MDs, dentists, chiropractors, nurse practioners, physician’s assistants, and physician’s assistants. The Tuscaloosa area hosts half of these providers.

Rolling stated, “We have great employees, good doctors and excellent patients. With the infrastructure and the ability see more patients.”

The headquarters are located in Tuscaloosa, at 2731 Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard, in a newly renovated structure. The call center is open 24 hours a day and operators can answer your calls or set up appointments. While appointments are preferred, walk-ins are welcomed.

The center has a bus stop right in front of it for easy access to the rest of the community. They offer a van pickup service to adults in the Tuscaloosa region who require medical attention on Tuesdays or Thursdays for those without transportation. They also have a mobile unit that can travel around West Alabama.
